New video from New Amerykah Part Two, which was released in March 2010. Most illustrative Video I've seen in ages, colour scheme is consistant throughout and allows Erykah to be highlighted in human form. Love that.

OFWGKTA - Tyler The Creator - Yonkers
Here's a rapper I stumbled across online. From the go I was drawn to the unique appearance, great video quality from 'Yonkers' (above), and technical word play. No soldier Boy.
Tyler The Creator is a rapper from a Hip Hop crew from Los Angeles called Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, or for the shorter abbreviation ODWGKTA. Check them out, they're a bit weird and I like that, still need to find their focus but they're just experimenting, they're all very young.
Outside of the USA they recently performed in London, if you want to hear more their latest album entitled 'Radical' was voted 23rd in XXL's top 100 albums to be released in 2010:

RedRock Uncut Youtube Project - 27th January 2011
The Redrock Youtube page and logo is a project I worked on with a friend and client from University. Through processes of trial and decision the eventual idea was to keep the "Redrock" text practically the same but have it mounted on layers of glass that had been smashed and altered. As designer i implemented a play on the word "redrock" and employed a deep red to sunset yellow/orange colour scheme throughout the entire project. The client requested 'UNCUT' Was to be carved into the glass, thus I created an etched effect for that text to compliment the scratches from the battered glass around it.
The Youtube Layout was to be similar in design to the logo, Which meant finding a good colour to merge the background into after it had finished. The Banner couldn't simply be the logo due to Youtube's size restrictions so that needed to be re-designed. This however, gave me the chance to add more elements to the banner such as the facebook, website and twitter links that direct to RedRock's other internet promotional sources. Small edits like the "Subscribe" text on the banner and the information box with Redrock Links (at the bottom) were added later on. As well as the Youtube Subscribe tag that you can find on their Videos.
